November 6, 1990 was Election Day and the station made this sports guy go to College Station to field produce at the Phil Gramm election night headquarters. I was livid… tried every excuse to get out of going, but still made the drive wondering, “Why me.” Found out when I got there and saw the beautiful Kim Zook for the first time in 277 days. And another love story chapter began. #Godhasaplan
