Now Everyone Can Fly, but EVERYTHING CAN BE CHARGED AND THEY CAN DO BLOODY ANYTHING Now I’m in a place called KLIA2, which, in actuality, the airport for AirAsia. The allegedly best low cost airline has offered various new services in its own den unknown to many, including the closure of the check-in counter before the departure, whereas some flights’ time schedule remains the same very AirAsia standard, that is, the delay is still very common. Though this place opened just a few weeks ago, but there was a fissure in its wall. The quality of the ground stuff cannot be more admirable. I queued in a row where there was a sign board for ‘dropping luggage’ (or something like that). When I and my pregnant wife got to the counter, the female stuff there told us that the counter was only for web-check-in passengers. We were told to go to other rows. When we get to one of the other rows, the female stuff there asked if my wife was pregnant. I said yes. We were asked to fill a form to exempt the airliner from all responsibility. The stuff had no idea about based on what regulation I have to provide the private information of my wife. What she could do was just to repeat that it was regulation like a parrot. I didnt want to waste my time, so I filled it. When it comes to her turn to fill the form, she filled the space for ‘Name of Witness as something like ‘Maa10136’ and some undecipherable characters in brackets. I had already provided the passport number of my wife as had been required by the form, so I insisted that she also had to provide her Passport or identification number. She said it wasnt necessary. I told her that this was a kind of legal document. So it was unfair if only one party was asked to provide personal and private info. But again, what she could do was becoming an unlovely parrot, uttering ‘it’s unnecessary’ again and again. I found it might be gravely wasting my time to talk with a parrot in a human shape, I left the counter. Certainly you can demand nothing for this kind of waste of time and very polite attitude of the ground stuff. Now everyone can fly, on condition that EVERYTHING CAN BE CHARGED and THEY CAN DO EVERYTHING. Hope I don’t have to use this airline again.
