Now... I dont usually get on my soap box and preach. HOWEVER; What has happened to MIKE BROWN is an atrocity and a crime against humanity. Now... I loved me some Mork & Mindy... Robin Williams is one of my FAVORITE comedians. He WILL BE MISSED... but what I find extremely interesting is that... If you go on HULU... you will see Robin Williams face all over the place. WHERE IS THE MEDIA COVERAGE FOR MIKE BROWN?? This is a story I have to RESEARCH... But if a famous comedian kills himself... you dont have to look for that.. its broadcasted on every channel. Have you NOTICED that the amount of IGNORANT MEDIA regarding BLACK people is at an all time high in correlation to the amount of senseless violence against BLACK people being at an all time high as well? The more they portray us as useless, unintelligent, undeserving and lazy, the less they need a reason to exterminate us (Lets call it what it is... EXTERMINATION) Reaching for his wallet while standing in front of his house... shot 42 times. Amadou Diallo 1999 NEW YORK Restrained on the floor... shot in the back. Oscar Grant 2009 CALIFORNIA Walking down the street... shot in the chest. Trayvon Martin 2012 FLORIDA Fleeing for safety...shot... turns around hands up... shot AGAIN multiple times. Mike Brown 2014 MISSOURI ALL THESE YOUNG MEN were UNDER the age of 25 Meanwhile... We have these STUPID challenges, these STUPID reality shows, these STUPID so-called celebrities that reinforce the STUPIDITY... all this so called ENTERTAINMENT just supports every other cultures indifference to our; BLACK, culture being systematically eradicated. Which seeps into the mind of law enforcement, which only makes that trigger finger more itchy... When a black face is starring back at those who have sworn to protect us... are they REALLY thinking about PROTECTING US??? #WaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakeUP
