Now I have heard everything. I never speak out on politics but I am hearing on Fox news that due to Obama Care, the government now wants to start harassing people that are over weight about what they should and should not eat. They are talking about potentially using text messages, emails, etc. I am sorry but in my opinion, the only thing the government NEEDS to do is limit what food people can buy with welfare. In my opinion, government aid should not be used to purchase any CRAP food. I am sorry it this sounds harsh to some but cheetos, ding dongs, high sugar serials, nutter butters, and many more are all examples of foods that can be purchased with such funds but are not a source of nutrition and therefore should not be acceptable to purchase with welfare checks/cards. These funds should be limited to truly nutritional whole foods. This I would 100% stand behind and is very feasible given the technological abilities we have. Everything has a barcode these days. I can already see General mills lobbyists filling pockets of politicians to put a stop to this. I mean God forbid the government make a stand against diabetes, PCOS, and insulin resistance. Until the government is prepared to make a meaningful change, they need to stop with this nonsense of harassing text messages and emails. Rant over, this is just why I dont watch the news.
