Now here is something that we need to pay close attention to. Although Hydro Quebec makes a profit of close to 3 billion annually, they still do not want to contribute to the maintenance of the James Bay Highway. They do, but very little, if any, although their sales of electricity is their main backbone to self sustainability as a province. Now...... Here is what we need to pay closer attention to, and it may come up in the future, Will Hydro Quebec use this as a bargaining chip to get us to agree to another agreement that may involve the damming of another river? Most likely the Great Whale River. They did this with the Paix des Brave. I remember very clearly the promise that was made that the road to Mistissini would be paved if they agreed to the agreement. Paved it was. Could the old war tactic be at play here where you deprive your opponent of their needs so that the opponent weakens and surrenders? Just a thought, but pay close attention. They do have the upper hand because they are Independent, self sustaining, and they do hand us the money through compensation. Anyway... Oh.... And one more thing, it feels a little strange having the jamesiens on our side... Lol. Or are they? Moles maybe? I love conspiracies. Rog.
