Now its your turn The Ellen DeGeneres Show! I posted this on Ellen Degeneres page: I posted this yesterday. I will post it tomorrow and the day after that. If you see the videos, the answer to why?, will be clear. I have to share two videos and there are three reasons why. 1.) The first reason is that the idea is really good... our project was a response to the ice-bucket challenge and the amount of awareness it raised for ALS. This project was to raise awareness of HSP (Hereditary Spastic Paraparesis), also a rare disease. 2.) The second reason is that the project was put together in less than 3 weeks by teachers, parents and students. It started small and each time, others joined the effort to make our project super successful. We came together as a school and raised over €6,000 for research. But it goes on because weve nominated 2 other schools to hold a Potato Pants run 3.) The third reason is because our videos were shot and edited by a 17 year old student. Hes amazing. O.K. theres a fourth reason (there are even more than that, but I have to stop) 4.) Four students and/or teachers are nominated each day to wear the Potato Pants for 4 hours...a fantastic lesson in empathy. https://youtube/watch?v=56XdjtrpZlo
