Christmas Volunteering Opportunities If you have started to notice a concerning increase in the number of mince pies and reindeer adorned chocolate wrappers on the supermarket shelves then you may also be starting to think of your voluntary organisations plans for the Christmas period. Many potential volunteers, whether as an individual or a group, look for additional voluntary opportunities around the festive period. Often they are looking to give back to their community or help those in need but there are often a range of possible roles that become available every year and chances to make a difference. If your organisation has need for additional volunteers around Christmas or over the Winter season, send through the details as soon as possible and we can start to advertise these roles on your behalf. As you may or may not be aware, the way we advertise volunteering roles on your behalf is changing. The Do-It! Website, used to search the details of volunteering roles, has been updated with a range of new features that will not only allow potential volunteers to find your roles more easily but will also allow your existing volunteers to keep track of the way they are volunteering. Due to the migration of information from our current database to the new cloud based system, you may experience a delay in your advertised roles becoming searchable.
