Now, to end a long battle throuout our faith... just to settle it once and for all. This message is mainly for those couples who are currently married and/or if you intend on getting married. Men and woman both disagree on whos fault it was for the fall of man. Men say it was the womans foolish will that she succumb to Lucifers charm- that if it werent for her broken will, we would still be in paradise and it was soley her fault. Woman on the otherhand would argue that it was the mans job to redeem her after she had fallen and if it werent for his weak will to redeem her. DRUM ROLL PLEASE... The truth is that we are both wrong. It is not one persons fault. Should Eve have been on guard so that she would not succumb to Lucifers trick- Yes. Was it Adams job to tend to the fields- some would even go on to say that it was his responsibility to weed out any threats from the garden, i.e. weeds and intruders, (which can be a whole other sermon lol),-Yes, he should have on guard in order to protect his wife and not succumb to her temptation, (bc surely, if she hadnt tempted him, he wouldnt have fallen too... yeah... ok. But notice how just a bit later, as they are naked, with their sin fully exposed, in the garden, they begin to blame each other- for it was surely not their fault... yeah... ok. God saw both of their sin. If they had repentant hearts instead of blaming each other- if they could see that they both had done wrong, they both would surely had stayed in paradise and we would not have sin in our world, our lives, our marriage. We see that, as our companionship, our marriage grows in age- if we do not deal with sin or arguements in an understanding manner, we cannot see paradise remain. We all have sins- i.e. words we say, actions we perform that may be misunderstood, no matter how many good intentions put into it, thus it becomes a chasm between
