Now we know how it is to have a wild fire burning near where you live like southern California. The fires are in all different areas, so we have smoke in the air in Highlands Ranch. We saw the plumes yesterday traveling south on I-25, we thought it was low clouds at first, then quickly recognized that it was a fire near Colorado Springs. Other fires near Estes Park and the Royal Gorge. It is windy, hot and dry here. Big expensive houses have been destroyed, burned to the ground.
