***Noyo Rowers Show Valor and Discretion Both*** A stiff breeze and current out of the south, plus choppy seas this morning have modiified the plans of the Noyo Womens Rowing Club. A voyage to Albion will wait for another day, and more favorable conditions. This morning, the rowers plan to go as far as feels right, with Point Cabrillo a possible turn-around. The women got a good send-off at Dolphin Isle and the Noyo jetty, and will have a chance to test new GPS equipment, and do more open-ocean rowing than they have done in the past. The change of plans dampened spirits not a bit, and the Helen Dee exited Noyo Harbor on time, leaving thumbs up and big grins in her wake, Complete story in Thursdays Advocate-News.
