Nuggets For Today January 15 Divine Guidance! There are many times that we do not know which way to turn. Many of our decisions are very complex and have lasting effects. It is very important for us to weigh every decision out before we make it. Discussions that are made hastily will usually be unwise decisions. It is very easy to make a wrong decision while going through a trial. How do I know what to do? Proverbs 4:10-13 “Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.” He desires to teach you the correct direction to take. Are you allowing Him to give you directions? Isaiah 58:11 “And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.” He will guide you into pleasant paths. Psalms 23: 2 “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” He will give you peace in your troubled storm. He will guide you until the end. Psalms 48: 14 “For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.” He will guide you in making decisions, and He will give you wise counsel. Psalms 25:9 “The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.” Psalms 73:23-24 “Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.” He will guide you in the midst of uncertainties. Isaiah 42:16 “And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.” Is it hard for you to know which way to go, and does your path seem dark?
