Even though Im not wont to marking my birthday, it has always been a reminder of my mortality, and a reason to reflect on my time, career and the many personal and public struggles that brought me this far. For all I have gone through in these 53 eventful years, I owe my gratitude to the almighty Allah for his continuous benevolence and mercy in spite of my vulnerabilities and the kindhearted Nigerians who stood by me and have never betrayed my hope in their supports, prayers and solidarity. While this is to register my gratitude for your unrelenting love, I call on us to wisely use the limited time God has apportioned to us by never engaging in whatever may hurt the conscience of humanity. Thank you very much, friends, for making my day Happy Birthday Sir!!!
