Nurse says Buddy Brobston is doing great and that early this morning (maybe before 7am) they are going to take out the breathing tube! The balloon pump should also come out this morning! I ask the nurse if he was out of the woods & she said way out she said she already returned the cooler that had all of the extra blood and other things he might have needed to the lab because he is doing so good. No bleeding from his chest tube or any other problems. She said after they take out balloon pump he only has to wait 2 hours then he can move his leg again (he hasnt been able to move it since Tuesday lunch time.) Thank you everyone for all the prayers and continued prayers and support. Prayer really does work, because Thursday the way the doctors were talking I would have never thought yesterday would have turned out so great. It had to be the prayers that helped Buddy have an amazing surgery. I feel like yesterday was a miracle & with the help of hundreds of prayers from all of you & the amazing people here at Herman Memorial I believe he received a 2nd chance at life. I never in my worst nightmares would have ever imaged myself sitting in a hospital room @ 45 looking over at my husband lying there in pain with tubes, wires & machines that are breathing for him. I am overwhelmed with sadness, disbelief & now a little relief. The one thing I know for sure is this will not break us, it will only make us stronger. Im bout to kick some heart problems butt & bust my man out of here!
