O.K. how can we trust people to tell us the news, if they are not educated or understanding enough to be able to use correct grammar to construct sentences that convey what they intended to mean? The problem here, is with FRENCH SATELLITE IMAGES SHOW POTENTIAL OBJECTS IN OCEAN. There are no potential objects. They either are objects or they are not. The potential is with what the images show, not with what is in the ocean. The sentence should say FRENCH SATELLITE IMAGES POTENTIALLY SHOW OBJECTS IN OCEAN. If the teams of people who put together the stories, articles, and announcements can not be adept enough at understanding grammar and syntax to provide accurate meaning in what they write or say, then how much is lost when they initially read or hear information when the news we are provided with is researched in the first place?
