ODM retreat underway ---------------------------------- The National Democratic Institute (NDI), which is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to support and strengthen democratic institutions worldwide ,is today hosting the Orange Democratic Movement at Sentrim Lake Elementaita Lodge in along the Naivasha- Gilgil Road, in a three day retreat to deliberate on party primaries, nomination rules and consider proposed changes to the party elections and nomination procedures, including dispute resolution mechanisms. The retreat will culminate on Sunday with the passage of key resolutions and a plan of action including a program of the way forward for the ODM. Top officials from the counties, and the part secretariat are being led to the scheduled meeting by ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga with official program set to kick off at noon today. More follows.
