They would only do so if the product was compromising image, assests, or was not profitable. As much as you wish it was, its probably not a political statement. Even if thats the facade theyre putting forward. As a feminist I dont care about GTA5, at all. Its a sandbox gangster simulator thats always treated women like garbage. Yes games dont make people inheretly violent, YES representation within games is important as a reflection of our values as a society and what we deem to be entertaining behaviour. WHAT PISSES ME OFF IS PEOPLE USING THIS TINY DILEMA TO ONCE AGAIN VILIFY FUN HATING FEMINISTS. I literally have not seen ANY feminists I know complain about GTA5. WE KNOW ITS DOGSHIT. GO BUY IT. MY CARING IS AT AN ALL TIME LOW Do you really buy your games from Target/Kmart? NO. Is it a moral/principal issue for you? You dont own these companies. They made a company decision. Get over it. Play a good game like DA:INQUISITION. Or Tetris for all I care.
