OK I WAITED ON THIS SUBJECT BUT THE GRAMMYS - MY VIEW (AS IF ANYONE CARES) - Kendrick Lamar most definitely got snubbed- macklemore admitted it - but also Macklemore told us the process of the grammys- they have many differnt people who vote and those people may not even know anything about the genre they are voting about - so there it is- BUT i will say this, its been 40+ years since Dj Kool Herc first spent that Dance record APACHE (Those who study the culture know what Im referring to, if you dont, you are not Hip-Hop excuse yourself to take several seats) that launched Hip-Hop- and we STILLLL TO THIS DAY dont have any awards with as much prestige as the Grammys- THATs RIDICULOUS - the rap category for the Grammys started in 1995 - we dont even support our own culture- the culture of hip-hop, we dont put enough time or money into making something that stretches worldwide- because hip-hops influence stretches EVERYWHERE- you know how many categories could be made based off that- it would be easy to TRUMP the Grammys- their opinion doesnt matter to me- dont give me a grammy, if I ever get to that position to even be nominated for one , I will reject- I promise you- they are low to me, they arent hip-hop, we need to support ourselves cause no one else will just how I feel
