OK, Ive got 9 from Ellen Niece Moore. Interesting things? Not sure about that. :-) 1) I love music. Any time. All music (OK, thats not true, but close.) And I love seeing music. Pink Floyd at Kemper. Queen. Twice. U2. At Memorial Hall, Kemper, Arrowhead, St. Louis Busch Stadium, Chicago United Stadium. 1000s more. 2) Ive worked for a woman supervisor since the day I walked through the door at Lathrop & Gage. 12 and a half years. 2 different women. Im pretty damn happy. 3) Im from the Dotte. Yup. Wyandotte County born and bred. Between I-35 and I-70 on 7th Street. Armourdale. Greatest place ever to grow up. Just sayin. 4) I won he 5th-6th grade basketball championship of the KCK recreational centers (1972-ish) Pat Hernandez (owner of Jalepenos restaurant) was the key to that team. He could shoot the lights out. Awesome. 5) Ive seen Les Paul (yeah the guy that invented, that, guitar) play live. It was 3 years before his death. I was alone in NYC. He played Somewhere over the Rainbow and I thought of home and teared up. 6) I walked in the Kansas City St. Patricks Parade. I got Janice in for her 50th and it was the most fun Ive had in my life. Our families are the best. Thanks everyone. 7) I have the best in-laws ever. All of them. Both sides. I have the best time when everyone gathers at our house for the Holidays. Such joy and laughs, I cant help but smile when I think of it. Thanks all. 8) I have the best families (Barbosa & Ortiz) anyone could ever grow up with. Both were hard working, middle class families that only wanted to give their kids something more than they had. Brother and sisters, cousins, Aunts and Uncles were role models. Mom and Dads love was always there. Making sure we had enough. 9) My Mancave kicks your Mancaves ass. Totally. Lets not argue. Its stupid.
