OK folks, I have a question....Thursday night the fire dept. did a practice burn on a building in town. The building was on top of the hill to the back of the property behind Poindexter Tire....It could be seen through the woods from Whitleys parking lot. The question is, was the building an apartment complex at one time or a private home??? I went up the hill & took photos of it after the burn & it raised my curiosity as to what it looked like in its hay day!!! Must have been a beauty & the trees along the driveway to the house are awesome!!! Id like to trace down photos, possibly beginning at the Historical Society. Anyone have tips as to where I might begin with a family name, etc??? THANKS & hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!!! :-)
