OK friends I do apologize for the lateness of this, but I lost my recipe :( But I just found it! :) Sausage Cornbread Bake 1 lb sausage 1 lg onion chopped 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1 1/2 cups self rising meal 1 can (11 oz)cream corn 3/4 cup milk 1/4 cup vegetable oil 8 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 10 1/2 inch skillet or 2 qt. baking dish. Brown sausage and onions drain well. Combine eggs, corn, meal, milk and oil. Pour half of corn meal mixture into pan sprinkle on sausage mixture and cheese. Pour remaining batter over top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. This was a favorite at my Moms dinner table!!! It just recently won me the Golden Spatula Award! :) And I hope that you enjoy this as much as our family has!!!!
