OK, some folks are going to think Im bonkers, but I saw my first UFO last night around 2300 hrs. Had turned off the news & lights, was walking thru the hall towards the bedroom, when I noticed a star twinkling reddish-blue. Got my 20x80 binoculars & zeroed in, thinking it was likely an airplane, coming in from the NE. Oh, how I wish someone had been here to see it, too! It appeared stationary, above a layer of clouds on the horizon. Hard to describe, but it pulsed with changing colors of light, as if electrical, and occasionally showed small dark black areas. It seemed to move as if turning in different directions, but remained in the same spot from my perspective. At one point, a perfectly round black spot surrounded by a small white light appeared--made me think they were looking back at me, almost. Watched it off & on for quite some time. VERY beautiful, totally unexplainable. Wonder if they saw it up at the Mauna Kea observatories? Classified, no doubt. Oh, for a video camera that could have caught that sight!!
