ONE DAY , SOME DAY SOON I stood on the path, taking in my surroundings. The gentle sloping hill lead my eyes to the cold, stark reminder of the past. I gazed over the messages, barely visible now, left on granite by families and friends so long ago. I came here often to reflect and meditate. To walk among the giant oak trees, breathing deeply of richly, aromatic air. Air filled with the scents of flowers, bushes and vines. It was a restful place for silent contemplation. Jehovah Jfamily among them.It brought to mind the great void one felt when a loved one was missing from your life. I stood there silently, saying a grateful prayer to Jehovah. Our lives are such a blessing! To be loved and a part of Jehovahs great family. Memories of loved ones arms, wrapped around me in tight embraces. Holding hands, laughing , silly looks and whimsical remarks. Life as one of Jehovahs people has always been an inmeasurable treasure! Today, as so many others as of late, I was reminded of the enormous love our heavenly Father has for mankind. He has longed for this time, more than his earthly servants. As the sun began to climb above the horizon, the sunrise was astonishing! The birds began to sing, and I felt the tingle of anticipation. I was enthralled by the moment, and then became aware of someone walking towards me. I saw a woman coming closer, joyful tears in her eyes. She looked very familiar. As she came closer, I could see the tears running down her cheeks. She looked fresh, lovely and bewildered. She was new to these surroundings. I approached her, and when we were close enough to each other , she wrapped her arms around me. What a priviledge to be here! As often as I was blessed to be here and greet my loved ones, the feelings were always overwhelming. After waiting for so many years, to hold her again in my arms!!! To hear her kind voice and see her warm smile. Jehovah,s priceless gift, to see our greatest enemy, Death, soundly defeated! Brought to an everlasting end! I soon realized that there were many others near us. We could hear laughter, loud shouts of joyful reunions. Tears and hugs that lasted for long moments. It was like this every morning since our King, Christ Jesus had begun to call those long dead from their tombs! Everyday was a miraculous testament to Jehovahs great love. The voices of all these newly resurrected ones and their families carried over the quiet morning landscape. They all began to travel away toward their new lives in Jehovahs brand new world. The resurrection of the dead has been progressing for some time. Those of the Great Crowd have been welcoming back loved ones, friends and others. With so many who need to be taught, it is a truly marvelous time!To be in such a beautiful earthly home, without anything to mar our peace and happiness. Healthy minds and bodies, never again to face hunger or poverty. The animal creation and man in harmony. The desire of every living thing taken care of. Memories of painful times, the violence, the struggles and all the things that called for our endurance, completely forgotten. Scars on minds, hearts and and our beautiful earthly home erased. Our dreams of this time didnt even scratch the surface of the reality. We couldnt comprehend the good things Jehovah had in store for us! No imperfect mind ever could. Our King, Jesus Christ and the 144,000 have been guiding us to real healing. They worked patiently with us , teaching us from the new scrolls. They administer true justice, helping every single person to to gain a closer relationship with Jehovah. Mercifully leading us to perfection. Everything that we endured to be a part of this makes the koy we have even sweeter. We have received one hundred fold what we we paid in tribulations and trials. Everyday gives us another opportunity to thank Jehovah for the treasure of His glorious new heavens and new earth! by, Anonymous
