Wonderful stuff about Hemingways Death in the Afternoon about bullfighting. The books pretty good but tough. Reviews good too. Bullfightings in contrast is a complete farce, even worse than this author points out. Bulls have their horns ground down to make them sensitive to touch and hence less likely to want to gore someone. Vaseline in the eyes in case being locked in a dark room for hours before being let into the brilliant sun of the arena doesnt diminish their eyesight enough.
