ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION A PROPAGANDA AND USELESS IDEA WHICH WAS ONLY - TopicsExpress

ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION A PROPAGANDA AND USELESS IDEA WHICH WAS ONLY CHAMPIONED BY SELFISH HIJACKERS OF NATIONAL UNIT. Whenever i sit down to reflect and analyse the intentions and motives behind the coming up with the idea of One Zambia One Nation slogan at independence some 50 years ago at the time when the two nations of Northern Rhodesia and Barotseland came together to form a nation that is today known as Zambia, what i find is that the idea was superbly wonderful as it would create and enhance a spirit of love, togetherness and co-existence among the citizens of all tribes. And that was an absolutely great move in a right direction as an artificial state. But, was that sacred and progressive idea given any chance to sprout, grow and bear any fruit? The answer is an absolute NO. Some may be stunned by this view point and ask him or herself to say but why NO? The answer is simply that crookness, dishonestness, untruthfulness, disrespectfulness, selfishness, treachery; list as many as you would like and you would learn that these are the very elements of hate that had occupied the hearts of KK and his compatriots from the N.Rhodesia who were partners to signing of the now void and defunct BAROTSELAND AGREEMENT OF 19 th May 1964. These the above listed traits have since 1964 been maginally visible in the behaviours of four out of the five Zambian Presidents with only the exception of Dr. Levy P. Mwanawasa SC who showed some respect to the to us the Barotse people as in contrast to some who only exposed their uselessness, arrogance and raging hatred of us despite having had larvished us with numberous promises which they later turned against and failled to fulfill. More hatefully, they have continued to ridicule us day and night in their speeches. After looting our £78 500 000 from our Barotse tresury, today whenever they would want to cite an example of the most underdeveloped areas you would hear them always mentioning Shangombo a district that is situated in the geographical boundaries of Barotseland with shame despite bearing it in their minds that their developmental policy on Barotseland had only allowed them to bring development to us when its time for lobbying for votes. Shaaame on them because they are really blessed liars. Their hate, jealous and envy towards our land and ourselves has now reached alarming levels such that they are now forcing us to be citizens of their country by gun. Yes we are now Zambians only by mere pronouncements ignorrantly made by their politicians and government leaders who are trying to blind the whole world that they love and care for us just to protect their mythological slogan of one zambia one nation a dead, ineffective and useless slogan or motto that only appears to have been concorcted under a plan to rob us of our inheritence in broad day light though deep inside their hearts lays the truth that the BA 64 Agreement was founded on a concept of protecting the atonomous status of our mineral rich sand nation within the new state known as zambia. Now, because of the misapplication of what looked to be a once promising slogan today we the Barotse people are no more happy to be zambians because we feel highly insecure and betrayed. Today they have littered our country with some heavily equiped foreign police and military soldiers to intimidate us without respecting human rights as demanded by the international law thereby depriving us of some certainly fundamental human rights i.e the freedom of speech, freedom of assembly among others. As a conquence of the above listed traits that have been perpetrated by the Zambia government leaders over BAROTSELAND AGREEMENT which they rushed into signing, the slogan today like the BA 64 remains useless as it can no longer hold on us the Barotse population following our acceptance of the abrogation of the BA 64 by the zambia government. So because of that only independence will be a consolation to the broken spirits of those of our brothers and sisters who have thus far lost their lives in the ongoing struggle for our self- determination. Note: Mbunga Culture Inventers is a group of young people who are currently labouring to sensitize the people on the importance of preserving their cultures. Location: Former western province of Zambia but now the The Royal Kingdom of Barotseland.
