ORACLE EBS ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP - Integrated Business Management Systems in Brazil) are information systems that integrate all data and processes of organization into a single system (Laudon, Padoveze). Integration can be seen in the functional perspective (systems: finance, accounting, human resources, manufacturing, marketing and sales, more.) and from the perspective of systemic (system of transaction processing, management information systems, decision support systems, more .). The ERPs in general terms, is a software platform designed to integrate the various departments of a company, enabling the automation and storage of all business information. Some ERPs are known: R / 3 SAP; Protheus of Microsiga; EMS Datasul; NEXT TN 2000 ERP Systems, PeopleSoft, Oracle, among others (Font:Wikipedia) What is Oracle E-Business Suite? I believe that from this post, we will have a better idea of what exactly is the Oracle E-Business Suite, as I tried to explain clearly and objectively what we define as EBS. Oracle E-Business Suite is a set of business applications that allows you to share unified information across the enterprise so you can make smarter decisions with better information, enabling processes and reduce costs. Due to a system that works completely online, allows you to increase profits through front and back office, consistent data, lower costs, execute marketing campaigns, send requests and more -all in a business system that shares a single technological base. With this, the client has access to information more quickly and economically in a single global instance, automating business processes across the enterprise, through the use of an integrated Business Intelligence. This information architecture provides a single definition of customers, suppliers, employees and products - all important aspects of their business. EBS may be implemented only one module or complete suite, which is determined according to the needs of each customer. With that Oracle can meet from mid-sized companies - which has reduced its management systems - by large companies - who have a need for a structured management system. The following modules are available on Oracle E-Business Suite: Shopping Contracts Management of corporate performance Management of customer data Management of customer relationship Financial Human resource management Intelligence Module Interaction Center Management training Logistics Maintenance Manufacturing Marketing Management of applications Managing the life cycle of products Projects Sales Services Follow-order services from suppliers Planning of suppliers Management of suppliers Management of transport.
