Object Lesson Of Recieving our Inheritance by Understanding Story of Ruth. Ruth lost her inheritance because her husband died and she was left with no heirs. For Ruth to receive the inheritance that was once promised to her, one of her late husbands closest relatives would have had to marry her, yet none of them wanted to. Ruth was left with nothing, yet holding on to the promises of God. Then she met Boaz, a close relative to her husband, who redeemed her by marrying her and imparting to her the inheritance she once had. This is our relationship with Jesus Christ. We lost our inheritance when Adam and Eve sinned which is eternal life. There is no one in this world that will be able to give us this inheritance back.... But Jesus Christ. The closest of ALL RELATIVES, ONE WHO IS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER has proposed to us through the cross, and paying our dowry in his blood, will marry us a the second coming, imparting to us the inheritance of eternal life.
