Offense was the theme today at the #BStro during NSUs first Saturday scrimmage of the fall. Natchitoches native Regan Kaufman led the way with two hits and drove in two runs. Braedon Barrett out of Lake Charles, LA registered two hits, one of which was an RBI double. California natives Joel Atkinson and CJ Webster both had productive days at the dish. Atkinson had an RBI single, scored a run and stole a base and Webster had a single and two RBI. Sam Wilson of Watson, LA also had two hits and one RBI. On the mound, St. Francisville, LA product Hunter Duvic had the most productive day for the staff, going two innings, allowing one run on two hits and one walk while striking out two. The Demons will return to action tomorrow afternoon with a scrimmage set to begin around 2:00.
