Official review of Peabody & Sherman, which Lando and I saw on Tuesday: I thought it was ok, but Lando lik...oh? Review that other movie? *prepares for long winded rave* Winter Soldier is one of the best Comic book movies Ive seen. Period. Yes, Im biased cuz Cap is my guy. But this is an espionage/action thriller that just happens to feature well known superheroes/agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. If you know what Brubaker has done 5-7 years ago, you will be astonished as to how faithful the script/direction is to the source material. Winter Soldier himself is spot on. There are lots of easter eggs for fanboys/gals but this is one comic book flick that doesnt need to rely on insider info. The action is top notch. A major improvement from the last film (GSP!) and further evidence that Cap is the center of the Marvel Universe, not Stark. (Ok, thats just me being optimistic. But its kind of becoming true...) And if you still watch S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC there is DIRECT correlation to the last ep and next weeks. Go see this movie! A- #MakeMineMarvel
