Often, I find myself complaining about the way escaped animals or wildlife are dealt with by Animal Services or Fish and Wildlife. But this time things went well and I want to make sure everyone knows. There was an escaped cobra in Thousand Oaks. Various agencies went looking. LA Animal Services found it. LA Animal Services took it ALIVE! The LA Zoo took it in. The San Diego Zoo will be housing it. This is BEAUTIFUL to me. THIS Is how I expect animal agencies to work for animals and to interact for animals. THIS makes me really happy. Every now and again, I feel like we are on the right track.
