While you are sitting in some pulpit waiting for your chance to Preach (or natural attrition to occur); you should be obeying the command of God to “Go into All the World” . (And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15) Why are you sitting there waiting on your Turn? You should be out giving the performance of your life; because the world is in Dire need of the Gospel Message that you claim to have within you..! Make full proof: … But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 2 Tim 4:5 Your test and proving is done on the battlefield of life as well; so get a job and pay some bills and keep on preaching and take care of a wife and children. ( For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph 6:12) Be realistic; you need a good education to relate to more of God’s people than you may think; so make the sacrifice get into somebody’s school somewhere. (Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Prov 4:7) This is How We Do It …… !!!! Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Titus 1:9 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Tim 4:2 NOW WATCH YOURSELF …..!!! Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 1 Tim 4:16
