Ok - so they are now looking at 2 corridors for the plane. Im gonna go out on a limb here and assume that IF the plane headed north, it would NOT be making lazy circles, so I would focus searching that scenario by looking at the 7 hour flight end time at lowest to highest flight speeds, not the entire swath it may have flown through. (Im also assuming the plane was flying the entire 7 hours since you would expect the hijackers to turn off the engines upon landing, ending the satellite pings). If it went south? Good luck with that search.
