Ok Esther De Kock Verhoef here is my 10! Geesh 10! 1. I got engaged at 19. 2. I have had 10 pregnancies. This will be my 8th delivery. Josh has helped to deliver all of them but been the actual delivering doctor for the last 4, soon to be 5. I only had an epidural with my first. With my 2nd it didnt work and with my third I opted for intravenous meds. After that I have had no pain meds in labor. I just feel better afterwards without them. 3. My favorite color is blue, any shade. 4. I am allergic to chocolate. It makes my mouth swell up and my gums bleed. However I craved it so bad with Mara that I gave in after many years and seem to tolerate it better now. If I moderate the intake I dont have a reaction. 5. I love vanilla shakes. (probably cuz of #4) 6. I have a congenital heart defect. It causes tiredness, shortness of breath and passing out. I had the most trouble in high school with it, but as long as I am monitored in surgeries, labor, dental work etc, it doesnt bother me much except for the occasional arrhythmia. 7. I love cars. I can tell you make, models etc. My favorite is a Porsche 911 Carrera silver with red leather interior….some day. 8. I love dogs. I can name breeds, temperament, history, etc. I love the Great Dane. I have one. Her name is Dacia. She will be 7 on Sunday. 9. I love coconut. Anything with coconut is yummy. 10. I am deathly afraid of heights. On our honeymoon in Romania (we went there to work in an orphanage), Josh tried to get me to climb the Sapte Scar (7 ladders with waterfalls on the side of a mountain), but I was so afraid after the first climb that I went back down and cried for a solid hour while he did it.
