Ok Facebook input time. Let me layout the back-story : 3 weeks ago 2 children ( a male and female) about 5-7 years of age started asking me whenever I came home or whenever I was leaving to go somewhere if I could be their daddy. At first I took this as a child joke and kind of laughed it off and proceeded about my business. But this has been going on for 3 weeks now every time I come home from work or every time I leave to go somewhere they run up and ask the same thing over and over. Now I was suspecting something different was going on or just simply maybe theyre just kids being kids. Today I come home from work as usual and both are sitting down on the curb right next to my parking space like clockwork. But this time the little boy says Can you please be my daddy? My dad hits me. So I need a little advice here, I dont want to cause a commotion in the neighborhood here but I was planning on speaking with the mother or father about what the kids have been saying to me the last few weeks, but I wasnt sure really how to go about doing so in the most polite way. Im not sure how to take what the boy said today to me so what do you all think?
