Ok....... I have not been home in a WEEK. The transmission in the Corvette decided that 3rd and 4th gears did not have to participate any more. Suffering from a severe lack-o-bucks, as I have been for the past too damned long, I had no option but pull the tranny and rebuild it myself. This is why I have been showing up at obscene hours at some of my closer friends houses. Thanks go out to all who have carried me, driven me, housed me and given me stuff. GOOD stuff, even...But I digress... The transmission was removed, disassembled, and is an hour and a half from completed. I will be home by Friday night, if putting it back in the car goes as planned. (and if it works... Minor detail, I know) I hope so. I really wanna go home!
