Ok I was thinking this for a while now, and a comment on another thread by Ursula opened the door a bit. Why is the craft beer thing so white dominated? Is it just a fair proportion of the slightly more affluent class that is more likely to pay the extra (of which I am definitely not a member) or is it less likely because of cultural matters? Anyone with travel experience or from other parts of the US that can advise if this is just a West Michigan phenomenon?
