Ok. This is one of the biggest lies in show business. First off, he announced retirement 3 years or so after his wife died. Second, his kids were in their late teens and early 20s when he said he was retired. Third, he was and still is doing voice work for cartoons in the supposed retirement. Fourth, he wasnt in an actual acting role for 5 years roughly before his wife died because theres only so many honey I shrunk the kids sequels to be made. As a matter of fact it wasnt until Facebook that his announced retirement became talk because no one cared and saw it as the cheap garbage that it was when it happened. A desperate attempt to get attention to a failed acting career
