Ok. Time to break my silence. I am sick of the govt lying about the dispute and some (a diminishing number, at least) of the public blindly believing what is being fed to them thru the media. The teachers are not greedy or selfish. they are not holding kids hostage! And they most definitely are not denying our youth a future. Reverse all of those statements!! They are being beat down, starved, and demoralized by a group that are suppose to represent our ideals. The notion that saving tax dollars is more important then our kids future is disgusting. Tax dollars need to be spent on just this kind of thing!! These are not my ideals, and I am pissed off that the people we put in office think they are. So Im calling out all you liberal supporters to explain yourselves. Explain why do you think its ok to reject binding arbitration on the backs of our kids and teachers getting back in the classroom? Explain why you wont negotiate in good faith and publicly disclose the actual process thats taking place (how often you meet, offers, counters, rejections, reasons). You are in PUBLIC office, start explaining yourself (truthfully) to us, the public. #bcliberals #callingyouout. #holdtheline #parentssupportteachers #pissedofftaxpayer
