Ok everyone, I have done a good bit of research on this! Everyone wants to know how to make your flowers longer. Well here is the answer! Aspirin and gin, pennies, vodka have no impact on cut flowers! The best thing you can do to prolong flower life is to recut the stems every two to three days. Add your flower food that should come with your flowers after you recut the stems. Keep the flowers away from extreme heat and preferably keep them in a cool spot out of the direct sun light. Also you can add two DROPS of bleach to the water and that will reduce bacteria in the water! Do those things and expect to get at least another few days to a week out of your flowers! Also make sure you use a reputable florist to get the freshest flowers possible! Some flowers can benefit from a couple of extra tips! Just ask us! Enjoy your fresh blooms! The Blooming Idiots!
