Ok everyone. Today is a very sad day for us but I want to make the best out of a bad situation. . I have been getting all my dog shots except for rabies (which a vet does) from tractor supply. All of my dogs have had all their shots thats one thing I have always made sure of. Yesterday I noticed Tundra was not eating like usual but I figured maybe she was just upset about spending the night at my boyfriends house or maybe she had a cold from being out in the rain. Today she still wasnt feeling good.. we made an appointment for a vet for tomorrow... sadly shortly after we made the vet appointment Tundra starting vomiting blood. We then rushed her to the emergency vet clinic where she was tested for all sorts of things. . Turns out she tested positive for PARVO. She was already so far gone by the time we got to the vet that our best option would be to put her to sleep. Even though she was so sick she still waged her tail and rubbed against the vets so that they could pet her. I held her all the way up until she took her last breath. She was surrounded by people who loved her. . THE VET TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE HAD 4 PEOPLE WHO PURCHASED THEIR SHOTS FROM TRACTOR SUPPLY WHOS DOGS DIED FROM PARVO. THIS YEARS PARVO IS THE WORST THEY HAVE SEEN IN 25 YEARS. IT IS VITAL YOU MAKE SURE YOUR PETS ARE TREATED BY A VET FOR ALL THEIR SHOTS AND DONT PURCHASED OVER THE COUNTER PET MEDS OTHER WISE IT WONT WORK! TIMBER WAS THEN RUSHED TO THE VET WHERE WE HAD HER TESTED FOR PARVO. IT WAS A MERICAL THAT SHE TESTED NEGATIVE! SO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS! PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FROM MY TIMBER AS SHE CAN STILL HAVE PARVO BUY JUST BE LETTING IT LAY DORMANT!
