This Monday, June 23, UNIVERSES and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival invite you to join us in celebrating Juneteenth, the oldest-known commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. * The day begins with a free and interactive pre-show at 11am in the Festival courtyard, directed by OSF actor Christiana Clark, followed by a concert performance of OSF Presents: Ameriville by OSF ensemble-in-residence UNIVERSES. A portion of ticket sales will go to the Juneteenth Scholarship Fund to help students of color attend OSFs Summer Seminar for High School Juniors. UNIVERSES is so thrilled to present this concert performance of AMERIVILLE. We are so grateful for that day at The Humana Festival of New American Plays when Alison Carey (and I think Doctor Lue Douthit) saw Ameriville and immediately after, approached us about an OSF commission which became Party People. *We are so proud of this journey and all the amazing people who helped create Ameriville for Humana and the Road ( Chay Yew, Morgan Jenness, Millicent Marie Johnnie, Russell Champa, Ben Marcum, Brian Freeland, Brain Brian Sidney Bembridge, Marc Masterson , our Tour Production Team and so many more). *We thank Claudia Alick, Donya K.
