Ok fb family and friends...... Question my niece.... 39 weeks pregnant been to the hospital 3 times this week.... She has been in labor all week when she went to her dr appt. the midwife(Chesapeake Womens health) sent her straight to the hospital was sent home by a different midwife at the hospital..... SOOOOO last night we went back to the hospital.... labor pains increasing.... dialeted to 4 cm. was discharged by yet another midwife with the explanation that they would not induce her labor because there was no DR. available nor Anesthesiologist there and if she was to have to need an emergency c-section she would not be able to deliver the baby...... Does this sound a little strange to any one else.... Because to me it seems a little strange..... Because after being sent home for the third time last night still in labor my niece was minutes from delivering her baby at home in route to the hospital the ambulance had to pull over because Josiah Ricarlos Alicea decided that he would wait no longer and grace us with his presence..... So yes Mr. Josiah was born in Caroline County emergency transport vehicle..... Thank God he is healthy with no health risk nor problems.... but despite that he is healthy no problems with mother nor child just worries me that there are others that have had this experience because of insurance and unfair medical attention...... this is a bitter sweet moment because I am so grateful that my great nephew is a healthy baby boy but in the same I am angry because there are many risk that couldve played a very vital part of his birth.... and worried because in about 7 months my daughter will be going through this and I personally will not stand for the foolery!!!!!!!!!!!
