Ok heres the story of how Ollie got home after he went missing for 97 hrs....BUT 1st...he is ok! Kayla and roommate took their turn sitting outside house to watch for him. I was just going to take a nap when I received a call from Kayla saying Ollies on milk st. Her and roommate Amanda were running there. My husband drove over and I stayed in garage waiting in case he came home..which he did. A lady on south st who lived next door called Kayla said he was in her yard all day since 6 a.m. and she just found out he was a missing dog. She said he was on milk st. Kayla was calling for him on upper milk st. When she turned around he came out of bushes she bent down and called him as he looked unsure so she slowly stood up took few ft. and he ran into bushes. I was texting sos message to u all as I looked up he came running into driveway and he stopped and starred at me as if to say is it safe...I slowly got up and calmly said hi baby, come on its ok Ollie lets go in the house and see takoda (our other dog who he grew up with) I opened door and said its ok come in Ollie baby and he ran to me and as soon as he got to me I held his collar and he was crying... He knew it was all over and he was finally home and back to our safe loving arms! He was dripping wet hanging onto me crying as I called Kayla. I dried him with nearest blanket and Kayla was by his side in no time with him still crying with relieve! He is ok. He had one tic that we could see, tiny scratch in ear, cut up paw pads (no blood) and dehydrated. Gave him water chked him over then his mommy, Kayla and room mate went to buy tic/ flea shampoo and of course his favorite toy bone and lots more goodies and stuff animal. Ollie laid snuggled in my arms EXHAUSTED and startled at every noise but just laid in my arms content with knowing he is finally safe after such a scary long ordeal! His aunty Kelly got to the house saw him and was ecstatic like the rest of us and Ollie was all over her as we saw at that point yup hes good! :) We want to THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TO BRING OUR BEAUTIFUL BOY BACK TO US!!!!! Kayla gave him a flea/tic bath and will as they normally do will be snuggled in bed together for the night. Then in the a.m. she will bring him here to Grammies for lots more snuggle time and to see his two bffs Takoda & Lucy. Who btw were sniffing me big time with excitement of Ollies scent all over my clothes :) Ollie will be going to get a complete checkup with vets tomorrow as well. Again THANK YOU everyone! Nice to know our community pulls together when needed. Also feel free if out for a walk next day or so and pull flyers down. We will get out there but just in case we miss any. YAAAAAA OLLIE IS HOME!!!!!!
