Ok my fellow business owners. Looking into credit card companies for running cards in the shop. Since my number has been published alot of calls have been coming in trying to sell their services. Some using extremely high pressure sales, worked years as a successful salesman so they just seem foolish lol, refusing to put anything in writing. An email, fax or anything. Others instantly agreed to put things in writing. Minimum usage fees, monthly fees, some with equipment rental fees. Smartphone swipers dont work with windows phone, and revenue not yet great enough to warrant the purchase of an iPad or laptop. Id like the option of accepting cards, although no one has yet inquired about them, without alot of crazy fees. Especially considering only a few more months before cold weather stops most fishing to all but us diehards.
