Ok, so I was able to talk to the guy that runs the IB program at MRHS. Bethany doesnt *have to* take a art class at the school, but would have to complete a full credit elsewhere if she does the double science. Now Running Start can be done for just the art, and its free, *however* it has to be done in her Junior or Senior year when the IB work load is at its highest. OR she can take a class at a community college like South Seattle. (Close to home.) SO.. does anyone know if one can get financial aid for just ONE class, when in high school? Id rather her take the class in the summer if possible. Or an average of what a 1 credit class would cost? It has to be a fine art class to be creditable. Thanks!
