Ok so.... In 2006, I went to urgent care with severe pain in my uterus... at the time I had a cervical infection and a fibroid tumor measuring 2 mm in size. I was prescribed some antibiotics and some pain medication and sent on my merry way... since then I have had 2 children and my tubes tied... the last week or so, I have been having severe pain in my uterus and lower regions so I made another doctor appointment and explained my past history to him. He did a pelvic exam and discovered what he believes to be that same fibroid tumor but it is now approxinately 10-12 mm in size... I have been taking a muscle relaxer for pain so in the mean time I will continue to take that, but I am being referred out for an ultrasound and a visit to an OBGYN for future treatment options... fuuunnn!!
