Ok so after my post on KARMA yesterday ive received several messages from people calling me godless and inhuman, im going to hell, all these messages from people on my friends list mind you.. have the nerve to call me out for my beliefs or non beliefs, whatever. So heres a little something i wrote on why i see things the way i do. And this is in response to a few peoples messages. Thanks for reading. Stating my opinion nothing more: The only reason you dont give people the chance to rebuttal is because you know there is a huge flaw in your argument. You have NO proof. None. The only thing you do when asked a logical question is one of two things. You quote the bible which is hearsay because you dont know who wrote it or any actual evidence that is a reliable source. Or you shut down and repeat yourself or you just ignore the situation all together. At the end of the day there is over whelming scientific proof! That indicates and supports evolution and a godless universe. Even the astrologist at the Vatican have changed their perception of what the bible is telling them. The said back when the bible was written, there was limited technological advances that allowed people to have the correct access to information to be able to make an education opinion on the universe and life. He went on to say that as mankind understands things more, we cant deny scientific proof, we have to be willing to change our way of thinking and understanding to live life reasonably and truthfully. Now im an atheist as well as a humanist. But I dont look down on anyone for what they believe in, if it teaches them good things and allows them to live their life in a positive way, more power to them and i support that. But, i PERSONALLY dont believe because i fail to see a lack of actual undeniable proof that there is or was ever a god. Not to say im not opposed to the idea. But we as people strive to knowledge and pride ourselves on being able to figure things out. I want to believe when i pass away that my family and friends will be there in heaven to greet me. But as a person of reason and lack of evidence other then its in the bible which is actually a personal interpretation if its true or not. I cant stand as a educated person and say yes this book is true and i want to live my life by it. Now provided there is actual information that can be backed scientifically, i would gladly retract my statement and make my way to sunday mass. But unfortunately after thousands and thousands of years we dont have that proof. Thanks for reading this is my personal opinion and by no means implies im right, but i do like to challenge something if i choose to live my life by it. If only for self respect.
