Ok so...done via phone so apologirs forbtypos...warm front activity is rippling through the area now in a wave-like fashion. Always cool to see those fluffy 3-D clouds with flat grey-black bottoms just hanging in the sky. If big and fluffy enough, you can get a water spout or two from them (with warmer waters being a better fuel from the bottom up). Expect fogging overnight into the next couple of mornings with air temps and dewpoints matching up. Not much for wind for the next few days except where frontal activity sharpens to allow a few low to possible mid teens perhaps later in the weekend/Monday. Mainly Southerly in nature below the rippling boundary with Northerlies peeking down behind it. Old man winter lurks well to the NW (as you see the frozen precip in the below surface map). Watch for convective profiles to increase and let scattered showers or isolated T-storms rat-tail snap the air and make people look up with that classic surprised look. Look for increasing northerlies as High pressures combine and wedge a vast dome into the backside of this pesky front by mid to late next week...maybe collectively 1036-1042mbs. Remember the higher the pressure biting into the backside of these residual fronts/troughs, the tighter the gradient and the stronger the winds. Until then.... TODAY: No wind. Only modest 9-12kt pulses as the day fades out. SATURDAY: Possible wind to reach low teens. Southerly flow swings SE to S/SSW as mild Sea Breeze oscillations between 12pm and 2pm play with your emotions. SUNDAY: Possible wind to reach low/mid teens. Low pressure traverses along boundary and stretches it across towards the area diagonally, allowing for a stronger S/SW flow to slide along the upstream zone...but this really is just a fancy way to say Possible wind. MONDAY: Possible wind along Northerly flow could zip into the mid teens...or be more relaxed for low teens. This will depend on timing of frontal activity moving through and how strong High pressure is behind it. With gradients tightening as High pressures combine and build, we could see the start of a new relationship with wind Tues through Thursday. Be nice or it will find another home. #KiteJam #ChucktownWindReport #flwx #tampawx #vbwx #venicebeachwx #sarasotawx #fox59 #klystron9 #baynews9 #anythingwitha9 #WindAlert #iKitesurf #iWindsurf #SailFlow #FishWeather #WeatherFlow
