Ok so the school transport department have clearly not thought about childrens safety during the school bus run at all. The first stop going home is at 3.45pm at a village with a 30 mph speed limit, street lights and a footpath, the last stop is in a village with NO street lights, NO footpath and NO speed limit (one local driver has already informed me its OK to drive pass my children at 45mph as that is safe!!!) The drop off time is 4.20 in the winter it will be pitch black. Now writing to the transport dept and I urge all other concerned parents to do the same.
