Ok, this is for all you tree-huggers out there (and I say that with love & affection because believe it or not I AM a conservationist), mankind has been hunting & gathering since the beginning of time. We need to eat to survive. Many folks dont see the need or understand the desire to hunt in modern times, but fact is there are many people who rely on it still for survival. The point is, the need has been there for centuries. The desire has created a sport. I know, youre saying what kind of sport is that? If you knew how many deer got away, youd understand. Just ask the folks in Phoenix proper who banned deer hunting several years ago only to have the herd explode in numbers and officials were then force to hire hunters as well as use game officers and lawmen to snipe and slaughter the herd to reduce the over-running numbers. What is more humane? This little girl, whether you approve or not, will never forget this moment with her father and gain respect for the wildlife she has taken. (stepping down from soapbox)
