Okay gals...September is almost here and you know what that means...Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Ill be posting every day....wearing my teal every Tuesday....teal bows on my porch posts. I wish that I could do a walk this year but I am in the middle of a bad MS relapse. My legs wont cooperate. This cancer nearly took my life. Three years of fierce fighting. I wouldnt be here today if I didnt pay attention to my own body and MAKE my gynecologist listen to me. I was almost too late. I was given 6 months to live. Going thru a divorce and just started a job after being a SAHM for ten years. I had three kids who depended on me. I was just 30 years old. How could I have cancer? I didnt have time for it! Wait, what? I could die? Most likely will die? No! Ill fight harder. Ill pray more vigilantly. Ill do whatever it takes! I spent many nights either begging God or cursing him. Thankfully, He understood my heart. I dont know why God saw fit to keep me around.....but I am sure glad that He did. #ovariancancer #silentkiller #hoohasareimportanttoo #notallcancerispink #tealisabigdeal
